Interested in a career in international trade? We have an open position of a purchasing manager / procurement specialist / buyer for interaction with suppliers (Italian tile manufacturers)

Required competencies:

• negotiation skills, logical substantiation of a viewpoint with orientation on a set target, adequate reaction to a “no” response
• proficiency in English (Italian or Spanish as an alternative) (at least Intermediate level)
• facility with calculation (degree in Economy or Mathematics would be an asset)
• basic knowledge of 1С, Google Analytics, Google AdWords (desirable)

Duties and responsibilities:

• purchasing and supply, negotiations with assigned tile producers (mainly by correspondence) aimed at reduction of prices or improvement of actual business conditions
• boosting sales volume through ceramic tile market analysis,competitor price monitoring, procurement strategy, elaborate pricing and expansion of online store assortment with popular tile collections
• monitoring new arrivals, writing blogs about newsworthy events
• settling claims relating to quality forwarded by unsatisfied customers (if applicable)
• document management in 1C (order processing, filling in dates of order availability for collection, etc.)
• interaction with logistics department
